Heads, I Win ... Heads, I Win

I have enjoyed doing some children's stories in worship services.
One of my favorites was flipping a coin for the kids and asking them to predict the outcome. Every time I flipped it, the result was the same ... Heads. The kids were baffled until I showed them the secret ... a two-headed coin.

I then talked to them about death. Death is hard. Death is sad. But for Christians, it is the ultimate two-headed coin. Paul writes in Philippians 1:

20I eagerly expect and hope that I will in no way be ashamed, but will have sufficient courage so that now as always Christ will be exalted in my body, whether by life or by death. 21For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain.

Live this life with Jesus at your side, and gain the great promise of an eternal life that is more wondrous than we can imagine.
